Our new work demonstrates what is possible to be achieved to date in terms of angstrom-scale investigation of two-dimensional functional materials
Check our new JACS (Journal of the American Chemical Society) paper about a Tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (TERS) study of strain engineering of 2D materials via organic modification on top. The induced interfacial strain is demonstrated to extend in borophene by ∼1 nm beyond the molecular region by virtue of 5 Å chemical spatial resolution. https://pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/jacs.1c04380 An excellent job was done by Linfei, congratulations!
