About

I joined the Jiang group in the May of 2018. Before coming to Chicago, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Fritz-Haber Institute of Max Planck Society in Berlin (Prof. Hajo Freund), focusing on structure and catalytic reactivity investigation of metal-supported ultrathin oxides. I earned a BS degree in Physics from Shandong University in 2008 and a PhD degree at Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2015, with a program on fabrication and physical properties study of two-dimensional atomic crystals beyond graphene. In my spare time, I like playing table tennis, badminton and billiards. Currently my research interest is developing ultrahigh vacuum TERS to study the chemical behavior of individual molecules on the surfaces.
